Seonjae Kim (김선재) is a Korean director, writer and translator for theatre and film, based in New York City and Seoul.

Inspired by her culturally liminal upbringing between Korea and the United States, Seonjae creates film and theater for a global context. Her work celebrates and complicates the kaleidoscopic spectrum of human intimacy and desire. She is committed to telling authentic stories of non-traditional sexuality. She is a graduate of Northwestern University.
